Hardware Engineer – PCB Design & Validation

About the role

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to design and validate PCB assemblies for power‑critical components such as motor controllers, power converters and high‑accuracy sensor circuits. The role is based in Ho Chi Minh City and works closely with embedded software and mechanical teams to deliver reliable actuator systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate PCBAs for power‑critical modules, ensuring electrical performance and EMC compliance.
• Coordinate PCB layout, conduct design reviews and prototype testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum and power analyzers.
• Perform detailed validation, including thermal management, noise reduction, torque output measurement, temperature profiling and reliability testing.
• Collaborate with embedded software engineers and mechanical designers to integrate hardware into actuator systems.
• Bring‑up prototypes, troubleshoot integration issues and optimise system performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation: schematics, layout files, component libraries, BoM and test procedures.
• Ensure compliance with CE, RoHS and EMC directives and support certification processes.
• Work with sourcing specialists and manufacturing partners for component selection, PCB production and SMT assembly.
• Mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 0‑4 years of experience in board‑level hardware design.
• Ability to work in a cross‑functional team and communicate technical information clearly.
