Java Web Development Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated student to join Bosch R&D’s Automotive centre in Ho Chi Minh City as a Java Web Development Intern. You will support the creation of Java‑based web applications that serve engineering use cases, working with modern frameworks and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java web services using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Assist in designing backend logic, data processing, and API integration.
• Support database design, data modelling and query optimisation for SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Participate in unit, integration and debugging activities.
• Help integrate applications with enterprise platforms such as Azure and DevOps pipelines.
• Maintain code quality, version control (Git) and documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and stakeholders to align solutions with engineering requirements.

Required profile

• Current student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Strong foundation in Java and object‑oriented design.
• Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs).
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
• Proactive attitude, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
