Accounting Intern – Finance Team

About the role

Join ACCIONA Energía’s Vietnam Finance team in Ho Chi Minh City as an Accounting Intern. This position offers hands‑on experience in core accounting tasks, especially during the busy audit period, and the chance to apply academic knowledge in a real‑world renewable energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable by verifying invoices against purchase orders and preparing payment request lists.
• Support accounts receivable by drafting and issuing invoices.
• Help register fixed assets and calculate depreciation.
• Collect and organize tax‑related documents and invoices for compliance.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly tax declarations and support tax audits by preparing required schedules.
• File accounting and finance records in both physical and digital formats.

Required profile

• Third‑year or final‑year university/college student majoring in Accounting or Auditing.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Responsible, detail‑oriented, and honest with the ability to adapt to change.
• Logical thinker capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
