Embedded Software Developer – Application Software (ASW)

As an Embedded Software Developer – Application Software (ASW) you will work on automotive functions such as ABS, ESP and iBooster, translating customer requirements into reliable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements from customers and break them down for downstream teams.
• Design software solutions that meet the specified requirements.
• Implement application software using the ASCET tool.
• Perform unit and component testing for each release.
• Integrate calibration parameters to optimise function performance.
• Evaluate vehicle test results and verify system behaviour.
• Analyse issues reported by stakeholders and provide corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Automotive, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical‑Electronics or related engineering fields.
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ and MATLAB programming.
• Understanding of embedded systems, micro‑controllers, sensors, ADC, timers and interrupts.
• Interest in automotive technologies such as ABS, ESP, AEB and ACC.
• Good time‑management, responsibility and teamwork skills.
• Logical thinking, problem‑solving ability and strong English communication.

Required skills

• C and C++ programming.
• MATLAB scripting.
• ASCET development environment.
• Embedded system design and debugging.
• Automotive software development (braking, steering, transmission systems).
