FP&A Senior Analyst, Workforce and Expenses

About the role

RMIT University Vietnam is looking for a senior FP&A Analyst to act as the finance business partner for workforce and operating cost management. The role will ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning while providing strategic insights through workforce analytics and expense modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain workforce and expense budgets, forecasts and scenario models.
• Partner with academic and operational leaders to analyse staffing costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Produce regular performance reports and dashboards that highlight variances and trends.
• Lead expense modelling, cost‑benefit analysis and financial impact assessments for strategic initiatives.
• Support senior management with data‑driven recommendations for workforce planning and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field; postgraduate qualification or professional accreditation is a plus.
• 6‑8 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or accounting, preferably in higher education or a similarly complex environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Required skills
