Junior Layout Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Layout Designer to join our engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on creating 2‑D and occasional 3‑D layout drawings for industrial plants, covering equipment, piping, and building structures. You will work closely with senior engineers to translate project requirements into clear design documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 2‑D layout drawings of plant equipment, piping, and building components using AutoCAD.
• Generate simple 3‑D models to support layout verification when required.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design consistency and compliance with project standards.
• Update and maintain drawing files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally for business trips.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications.
