Senior Associate – Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence)

About the role

PwC’s Transaction Services team in Vietnam is seeking a Senior Associate to support M&A transactions for corporate and private‑equity clients. You will work from the Ho Chi Minh City office, delivering high‑quality financial due diligence and advisory services throughout the deal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial due diligence for buy‑side and sell‑side M&A engagements.
• Map key findings to price adjustments, warranties, and deal structuring recommendations.
• Collect, clean, and prepare data sets from multiple sources for analysis.
• Analyse income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and underlying performance drivers.
• Assess valuation metrics, including EBITDA, working‑capital requirements and net financial debt.
• Interview management teams to identify non‑financial risks and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive due‑diligence reports highlighting critical deal issues.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑4 years of relevant experience in transaction services, audit, or a Big‑4 environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and report writing.
