Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Joining Bonus

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSV) in Ho Chi Minh City as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer within the EPC department, focusing on automotive powertrain solutions. You will work on engine and vehicle control units, contributing to performance, efficiency, emissions, and safety features while benefiting from a Q4 joining bonus equivalent to one month’s gross salary.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement engineering activities: elicit stakeholder needs, decompose requirements, perform impact analysis, and ensure compliance with emission and safety standards.
• Design and develop embedded software using model‑based development, configure and integrate components, and conduct static and dynamic testing in HiL/SiL environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage baseline and variant configurations, and ensure traceability between requirements, code, and test reports.
• Identify and resolve problems, record anomalies, and report status to project managers, escalating barriers when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in embedded software/system development for automotive applications.
• Strong understanding of HW‑SW interfaces, system configuration, and automotive standards (AUTOSAR, ISO26262, CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD, ASPICE).
• Familiarity with V‑Model or Agile/Kanban development processes.

Required skills

• Embedded C programming.
• Python and Perl (including data‑processing libraries such as Pandas and frameworks like Django).
• HiL and SiL testing, automation test tools.
• Version control and CI/CD tools: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Automotive standards: AUTOSAR, ISO26262, CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD, ASPICE.
• Model‑Based Development, C#.NET (nice to have).
