Software-Hardware Integration Verification & Validation Engineer (Joining Bonus)

About the role

As a Software‑Hardware Integration Verification and Validation Engineer you will ensure seamless integration of hardware and low‑level software for next‑generation System‑on‑Chip (SoC) and Chiplet platforms. You will work on board bring‑up, bootloader and Linux configuration, driver integration and system‑level validation for Bosch’s Automotive Chiplet Systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop board support packages (BSP) and perform register‑level programming for microcontrollers, PMICs and chiplets.
• Customize bootloaders (RPU and U‑Boot for APU) and configure the Linux kernel, including driver integration and performance tuning.
• Integrate and debug high‑speed communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, PCIe, UCIe, USB, LPDDR, Camera and DisplayPort.
• Perform board bring‑up, hardware validation and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
• Create hardware‑specific test tools and contribute to system‑level verification and validation activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in low‑level software development, board bring‑up and hardware‑software integration.
• Proficiency in English and strong hands‑on debugging skills.
