National Office Finance Officer – 7-month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

World Vision Vietnam is seeking a temporary Finance Officer for its National Office on a 7‑month fixed‑term contract. The role ensures accurate financial management, reporting and compliance across the National Office, Area Development Programs and grant projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly Foreigner Contractor Tax declarations, VAT refund dossiers and S&B voucher interfaces using Sun Systems.
• Review and reconcile funding accounts, enter data in Sun Systems and produce supporting schedules and financial reports.
• Conduct field monitoring of projects to verify compliance and financial accuracy.
• Update the Finance Manual and Field Finance Manual in line with World Vision International standards.
• Develop and review budgets for Grant and Private Non‑Sponsorship proposals, including projects with awards over $1 million.
• Monitor burn rates, communicate with stakeholders and support corrective actions.
• Provide technical accounting guidance, training and support to project finance staff.
• Maintain finance systems and safeguard financial integrity for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experience preparing tax declarations and VAT refunds.
• Ability to review and reconcile funding accounts and produce accurate financial reports.
• Experience conducting field monitoring and ensuring compliance.
• Proficiency in developing and reviewing grant and PNS budgets.
• Capability to provide accounting guidance and training to staff.
