Special Project Officer – COAST Project (An Giang)

About the role

World Vision Vietnam is seeking a Special Project Officer to lead the implementation of the COAST (Climate and Ocean Adaptation and Sustainable Transition) Project in An Giang province. The role focuses on protecting fisheries resources, marine ecosystems and enhancing climate‑resilient aquaculture, in partnership with IUCN and local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement project activities in An Giang province, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
• Work closely with government counterparts, local communities, IUCN and other partners to align interventions with project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, collect data and prepare reports in line with donor requirements and World Vision policies.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication to support project outcomes.
• Support the two project components: protection of marine biodiversity and climate‑resilient aquaculture development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or implementation within development, environmental or climate‑adaptation contexts.
• Ability to collaborate with government agencies, NGOs and community groups.
• Strong monitoring, reporting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with donor compliance and World Vision operational standards.
