AI Agent Building Intern

About the role

Join Bosch R&D as an AI Agent Building Intern and contribute to the creation of intelligent agents that support engineering processes. You will work with cutting‑edge generative AI tools, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Python‑based frameworks to deliver practical solutions for document analysis, test report summarisation, and problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and development of AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Python, and LangChain.
• Build data ingestion pipelines that connect to enterprise sources such as SharePoint, databases, and APIs.
• Implement agent workflows for engineering use cases, including 8D problem‑solving support.
• Integrate AI capabilities into Microsoft ecosystem platforms (Azure, Power Platform, DevOps).
• Test, evaluate, and document agent performance metrics such as accuracy and latency.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and data experts to continuously improve agent usability.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI/ML or a related field.
• Strong programming and computational problem‑solving skills, preferably in Python.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML, NLP, or chatbot/agent development through academic projects.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and ability to work independently.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
