Embedded Software Architect / Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Architect / Technical Lead to drive the design and implementation of high‑quality embedded software solutions for our customers. The role combines architectural ownership, technical leadership, and project support within Bosch’s software development centre in Ho Chi Minh City.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and manage software requirements, resolving gaps and conflicts with customer expectations.
• Design and approve software architecture models that satisfy functional, safety and reuse requirements.
• Define variation handling strategies to maximise software reusability.
• Evaluate architecture quality, identify weaknesses and implement improvements.
• Manage technical debt to ensure long‑term sustainability of the code base.
• Guide development teams through implementation, providing architectural expertise and reviewing software artefacts.
• Monitor and approve software quality metrics and tailor engineering processes.
• Provide technical consultation for customer requirements and defect analysis.
• Assess technical feasibility, estimate effort for new projects and support ASPICE assessments.
• Drive knowledge sharing and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (system, test, platform, third‑party).
• Participate in technical recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Proven experience in software architecture design.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and constraints.
• UML modelling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Self‑disciplined with a strong teamwork orientation.
