Embedded Software/System Tester – Automotive

About the role

As an Embedded Tester at Bosch Vietnam, you will work on Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL), Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SiL) and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HiL) testing for automotive software components. You will contribute to ensuring the safety and reliability of next‑generation vehicle systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform unit, component, system and HiL testing, creating stimuli models to achieve requirement, equivalence class, boundary‑value and code coverage.
• Develop test specifications, execute tests, analyse results and produce test reports.
• Participate in design and optimisation of validation processes through regular technical meetings.
• Derive test specifications from approved requirements and support test‑process methodology and tool development.
• Automate tests, solve technical queries and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in embedded or software testing, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical‑Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Strong analytical, debugging and English communication skills.

Required skills

• Good C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Door or Code Beamer, Git.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, TPT, Embedded Coder and EXAM (or equivalent tool chain).
• Familiarity with CANoe, CANape, NovaCarts (or similar).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, V‑model, emulators, simulators and test equipment.
• Basic embedded knowledge of micro‑controllers, sensors, actuators, communication and network protocols.
• Automotive domain knowledge and optional Python/VBA scripting, AUTOSAR, powertrain concepts.
