Commercial Buyer – EA Region (MA‑AS, Australia)

About the role

The Commercial Buyer will support the Mobility Aftermarket Division for the EA Region, focusing on markets in Malaysia, Australia and surrounding areas. This role drives material strategy, supplier selection and procurement activities within a complex, matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement material field strategies and consolidate global/area demand.
• Identify, assess and select suppliers, conduct RPA and CSR evaluations, and manage approvals.
• Evaluate annual supplier performance, manage supply risks and drive development initiatives.
• Lead RFQs, negotiate annual prices, manage sourcing decisions and cost‑reduction activities.
• Own supplier contracts, ensure timely renewals and maintain master data.
• Plan and track purchasing targets, maintain reporting (RPP, PICO) and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive, technical products or trade goods procurement.
• Strong strategic mindset with proven ability to deliver purchasing excellence.
• Advanced analytical capabilities, leveraging AI technologies for forecasting and risk assessment.
