About the role
As a Hardware Engineer at Bosch Group in Ho Chi Minh City, you will design and validate PCB assemblies for power‑critical components such as motor controllers, power converters and high‑accuracy sensor circuits. You will work closely with embedded software, mechanical design and sourcing teams to deliver robust actuator systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and validate PCBAs for power‑critical modules, ensuring electrical performance and EMC compliance.
- Coordinate PCB layout, conduct design reviews and validate prototypes through bench testing and debugging.
- Execute detailed validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers and EMI/EMC test equipment.
- Optimize designs for thermal management, noise reduction and reliability.
- Support system‑level testing, including torque output, temperature profiling and durability tests.
- Collaborate with embedded software and mechanical engineers to integrate hardware into actuator systems.
- Perform hardware bring‑up, troubleshoot integration issues and improve system performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation: schematics, layout files, component libraries, BoM, test procedures and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with CE, RoHS and EMC directives and assist with certification processes.
- Work with sourcing specialists and manufacturing partners for component selection, PCB production and SMT assembly.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 0–4 years of experience in board‑level hardware design.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
