Cyber Security SOC Intern

About the role

Join PwC’s Cyber Defense team in Ho Chi Minh City as a Cyber Security SOC Intern. You will work in a fast‑paced Security Operations Center, supporting clients’ protection strategies and gaining hands‑on experience with real‑world security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the alert queue on a 24x7 shift schedule and triage security and device alerts.
• Receive client calls, create incident tickets, and route them to the appropriate response teams.
• Collect data and context required for investigations and hand‑off to Level‑2 security analysts.
• Follow established incident playbooks and runbooks to ensure consistent response.
• Maintain documentation of alerts, incidents, and remediation actions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to cybersecurity, information technology, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret security data.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and handle time‑critical situations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
