EHS Manager – Manufacturing (Vietnam)

About the role

The EHS Manager will lead the Environmental, Health and Safety function for Abbott's manufacturing site in Vietnam. This senior position is responsible for aligning local EHS practices with global strategy and ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable operating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site EHS strategy, roadmap, KPIs and budget in line with global EHS and sustainability goals.
• Lead and manage the EHS team to guarantee legal compliance and achievement of EHS objectives.
• Establish, implement and maintain EHS policies, standards and procedures across the plant.
• Monitor and report EHS performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with local authorities on environmental (water, emissions) and fire‑fighting matters.
• Support safe production operations and manage risk in engineering‑exposed environments.

Required profile

• Vietnamese nationality and fluency.
• Minimum 10 years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing setting with more than 50 employees.
• Proven track record handling environmental compliance (water, emissions) and fire‑fighting coordination with local government agencies.
• Positive attitude, ability to work in a global company with multiple compliance layers.
