Embedded Android Automotive Developer (1 Year Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Android Automotive Developer to join Bosch’s software team in Ho Chi Minh City on a one‑year contract. You will work on low‑level Android software that powers automotive systems, ensuring safety, stability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all software development phases, from requirements analysis and design to implementation and verification.
• Develop firmware, middleware and OS services for monitoring thermal, voltage, reset reasons and overall system state.
• Focus on Embedded Android software development, including Android HAL and related components.
• Engage in international discussions and communicate in English on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Mechatronics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Embedded Android software development (total 4 years in software development is a plus) or recent graduates.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Knowledge of Object‑Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and UML.
• Experience with Android HAL development, including CTS and VTS.
• Understanding of Android Services.
• Experience with Google Test frameworks and the Binder IPC framework.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
