Embedded Software Architect – Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

About the role

The Embedded Software Architect will join Bosch Global Software Technologies’ EDA department in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The role involves defining software architecture for radar, video and ultrasonic sensor products, ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the software architecture for mainstream ADAS products.
• Support customer project teams by providing optimal architectural solutions.
• Participate in design decisions and act as a key stakeholder on the change control board.
• Mentor and guide teams on architectural best practices and enforce related processes.
• Evaluate risks, estimate changes, propose alternatives and collaborate with development teams.
• Maintain architecture artifacts, track compliance topics and represent ASPICE evaluations.
• Take part in critical reviews, suggest improvements and manage technical complexities.

Required profile

• Strong background in embedded software development for automotive or sensor‑based systems.
• Experience working with global customers and understanding regional/OEM expectations.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and influence project outcomes.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on safety‑critical development.
