Embedded Test Engineer Intern – Matlab/Simulink

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City as an Embedded Test Engineer Intern. You will work on Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SiL) and Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) testing for automotive software components, supporting the delivery of safe and reliable vehicle systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, clarify and analyse them for test purposes.
• Derive and specify test cases for SiL/MiL testing.
• Design and implement test code using Embedded C.
• Execute test cases, analyse results, document deviations and justify findings.
• Participate in peer‑reviews of test artefacts.
• Investigate problem reports, perform root‑cause analysis and support issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain test‑automation tools.

Required profile

• Under‑graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Electronics‑Telecommunication, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Interest in automotive software development and testing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink.
• Experience in Embedded C programming.
• Familiarity with Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SiL) and Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) testing concepts.
• Ability to design and execute test cases and analyse results.
• Basic knowledge of test‑automation tool development.
