Junior Accountant – Record-to-Report & Procure-to-Pay

About the role

Sucafina is seeking a Junior Accountant to support both Record-to-Report and Procure-to-Pay processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate vendor invoice processing, timely payments, and precise bank and foreign‑exchange accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Process, verify and record vendor invoices in the accounting system, coordinate approvals and prepare payment runs.
• Perform regular vendor account reconciliations, resolve invoice/payment discrepancies and prepare monthly AP aging reports.
• Record daily bank transactions and foreign‑exchange entries, reconcile FX P&L positions and intercompany balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support month‑end closing tasks for banking and forex portfolios and respond to cross‑functional queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in Accounts Payable and general ledger/banking processes.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, iRely or QuickBooks.
