Key Account Manager – Healthcare Market

About the role

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will act as the primary strategic partner for hospitals and health insurance entities, expanding product awareness and delivering high‑level technical guidance. The role combines account development, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership within Servier's pharmaceutical portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Implement company strategy and align initiatives with new government policies to ensure ethical business support in hospitals.
• Collaborate with field force teams to create data‑driven action plans for assigned territories.
• Lead cross‑functional projects with Marketing, Medical, Training, and Commercial Excellence to define short‑ and long‑term account objectives.
• Develop deep understanding of hospital structures, key stakeholder roles, and procurement processes.
• Maintain advanced product, market, and competitive knowledge while expanding a network of key opinion leaders.
• Identify team strengths and development needs, coaching Key Account Specialists to improve performance.

Required profile

• Doctor or Pharmacist with at least 3 years of sales management experience or 1 year as a KAM in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in hospital account management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations, healthcare policies, and pharmaceutical compliance.
• Ability to analyse complex market data and design effective action plans.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and pressure‑handling skills, with remote management capability.
