Ocean Executive

About the role

The Ocean Executive will support RCS Logistics' US trade lane operations from our Ho Chi Minh office. Reporting directly to the US team, you will act as a key liaison between carriers, freight forwarders and shippers, ensuring smooth administrative processes and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily contact with RCS’s carriers and freight forwarders to manage administrative duties.
• Coordinate bookings and documentation for shipments on US trade lanes.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports to the US management team.
• Assist with carrier and shipper inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
• Utilise CargoWise (or similar systems) to track shipments and update records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college education.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, forwarding, logistics or carrier operations.
• Strong command of English and proficient computer skills.
• Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented, hard‑working and dynamic attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CargoWise (preferred).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Outlook Express or similar email client.
