Ocean Operation Coordinator

About the role

The Ocean Operation Coordinator will manage end-to-end ocean freight shipments for JTT Logistics Vietnam, ensuring timely, cost-effective transportation of goods. Working closely with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal teams, the coordinator supports smooth movement of cargo across international routes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor ocean freight shipments from origin to destination.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs brokers to arrange bookings, documentation and clearance.
• Track shipment status, resolve issues and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with INCOTERMS, customs regulations and company procedures.
• Optimize routing and cost efficiency while maintaining service quality.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years experience in ocean freight operations, freight forwarding or global logistics.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and willingness to learn.
