Senior Industrial Engineer – Ergonomics & MAE Design

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead ergonomic assessments and machine & equipment (MAE) drawing activities at its Long Thanh plant. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to optimise workplace layouts, maintain drawing standards and support cost‑calculation data.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Ergo‑checks following Bosch CD04605, HIRA assessments and work instructions, proposing layout improvements.
• Manage drawing control as the key user of PLM (NX Team Center), including user access rights, drawing release numbers and compliance with Bosch standards.
• Design small MAE (machine & equipment) using CAD tools, create bills of materials and modify designs as required.
• Support internal BPS elements such as standardized work, SMC, 5S and QCO, coaching supervisors and shift leaders.
• Generate time data in CAPP (VT/TEB) for SAP routing setups and maintain cost‑calculation data.
• Lead improvement projects (SCIP, BLI, PSS) and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Perform MTM analysis or time‑study methods to evaluate production efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in ergonomic assessment, drawing control and MAE design within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Bosch standards, PLM systems and production cost calculation processes.
