Software-Hardware Integration Verification and Validation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software‑Hardware Integration Verification and Validation Engineer to join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on low‑level software development, driver implementation, and hardware‑software integration for advanced System‑on‑Chip (SoC) platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop board support packages (BSP) and perform register‑level programming for chiplets, microcontrollers and PMICs.
• Implement, debug and configure device drivers and peripheral initialization.
• Customize bootloaders (RPU bootloader, U‑Boot for APUs) and implement secure boot solutions.
• Integrate and optimise the Linux kernel, including driver integration and performance tuning.
• Integrate and troubleshoot communication interfaces such as I²C, SPI, CAN, PCI, UCIe, USB, LPDDR, camera and DisplayPort.
• Perform board bring‑up, validation and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
• Develop hardware‑specific test tools covering system‑level testing.

Required profile

• Completed university studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest and experience in low‑level programming and embedded environments.
