Application Engineer (Senior/Lead)

About the role

Akselos is seeking an Application Engineer (Senior/Lead) to join its Vietnam team. The role involves developing computational components for advanced simulation software and supporting engineering projects across the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and test computational components for innovative simulation software.
• Develop or modify 3D CAD models for industrial applications.
• Generate Akselos‑compatible component meshes for computational analysis.
• Conduct finite element calculations using in‑house and industry‑standard tools.
• Enhance and improve Akselos tools through testing and software development.
• Analyze structural and thermal problems using finite element modeling techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in engineering applications or software development (more experience considered for senior or lead roles).
• Familiarity with 3D CAD modeling processes.
• Solid foundation in finite element analysis (FEA) workflows.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work effectively within a global team.
• Coding skills in popular programming languages (a plus but not mandatory).
