About the role
Ernst & Young Vietnam is seeking a proactive Assistant to support its Japanese Business Services (JBS) team. The role focuses on bridging communication between Japanese clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth client interactions and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Japanese managers in communicating with Japanese clients, handling inquiries and maintaining strong relationships.
- Identify and resolve conflicts or misalignments between clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor client needs, provide timely escalations, and propose solutions.
- Support the organization of seminars, webinars, and other business development events.
Required profile
- Fluent in spoken and written Japanese (JLPT N2) and English at a business level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Tax, Marketing, or a related business field.
- 2‑3 years of experience in a strategic sales environment or within an accounting firm, with a proven track record.
- Strong knowledge of tax and/or accounting principles applied to complex sales.
