Automation Engineer (PLC & HMI)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain PLC‑based control systems for our manufacturing facilities in Ho Chi Minh City. The role involves working with a range of hardware and software platforms to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and program PLC and HMI applications using platforms such as Siemens, RockWell, Mitsubishi and Beckhoff.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) from engineering drawings, calculate material requirements and support installation.
• Integrate, commission and maintain robotic and sensor technologies within production lines.
• Upgrade existing control systems and ensure continuous operation and reliability.
• Interpret electrical schematics and documentation to troubleshoot and optimise system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of automation equipment such as HMI panels, inverters, switchgear and sensors.
• Good understanding of industrial networks and communication protocols.
