Business Development Assistant – Building & Infrastructure

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Business Development Assistant to support its Building & Infrastructure division in Vietnam. The role focuses on generating new construction project opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting the BD Manager in delivering proposals and contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research new construction project leads through market analysis, networking events and CRM tools.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals covering scope, cost estimates and timelines, and negotiate contract terms.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to uncover business opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure smooth hand‑over and execution of awarded projects.
• Track opportunities through the sales funnel and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects.

Required profile

• University degree; technical or marketing background is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction processes, project phases and relevant regulations.
• Strong networking ability with decision‑makers in the construction sector.
• Proven sales experience in lead generation, proposal development and contract negotiation.
• Fluent in English (and Chinese) with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Analytical mindset to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
• Proficiency with CRM software to manage leads and sales pipelines.
