Chief Accountant & HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Accountant who will also oversee HR functions. This senior position is responsible for the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax compliance, and human resources within a dynamic logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of finance, accounting, and tax functions.
• Manage the complete set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
• Prepare financial statements and present them to management and regional teams.
• Monitor cash flow, oversee payment tracking, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and corporate headquarters for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Chief Accountant Certificate (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in FDI companies or freight forwarding/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to handle a full set of accounts independently.
• Experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and corporate reporting.
