Civil Engineer – Road, Pavement & Drainage Design

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join its Ho Chi Minh City team. You will work on complex infrastructure projects, applying innovative design solutions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop road, pavement, storm‑water, drainage, earthworks, traffic access and concrete structures.
• Contribute to BESS, solar‑farm and water‑treatment system civil designs where applicable.
• Lead junior and mid‑level engineers and designers, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Automation Engineering accepted).
• 7‑15+ years of experience in the industrial sector, preferably on infrastructure projects.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written) and ability to work under high pressure.
• Familiarity with Vietnamese and international design standards; knowledge of Australian standards is a plus.

Required skills

• Civil 3D (preferred), 12D Solution, AutoTurn.
• Knowledge of Australian standards: AS3600, AS1170, AS5100.
• Expertise in road, pavement, storm‑water, drainage, earthworks, traffic access and concrete design.
• Experience with BESS, solar‑farm and water‑treatment civil design (advantageous).
