Construction Finance Manager

About the role

The Construction Finance Manager will lead financial planning and control for construction projects, ensuring budgets are realistic, costs are managed efficiently, and financial risks are mitigated. This senior position works closely with project teams to provide accurate cost information and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial feasibility.
• Monitor and report on project expenditures, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Prepare financial forecasts, cash‑flow projections, and cost‑analysis reports for each project.
• Assist in financial planning and strategy by providing detailed cost information for capital expenditures (Capex).
• Collaborate with quantity surveyors and construction managers to ensure accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction finance.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost‑control principles, and financial management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, leadership and coordination abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with professional skepticism and strong people‑management skills.
