Electrical Commissioning Engineer – Maritime Projects

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our maritime shipbuilding team in Hai Phong. You will work on electrification, automation and hybrid‑propulsion projects, supporting the delivery of tugboats and high‑speed crafts. The role involves commissioning, testing and sea‑trial activities for complex electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and finish testing programs for electrical systems following HAT/SAT protocols.
• Coordinate and support OEM suppliers during the commissioning phase.
• Report test data in HAT/SAT documents and identify improvement points.
• Perform pre‑commissioning checks on cable installations and connection completeness.
• Review electrical drawings, flag issues and propose improvements to engineering.
• Participate in sea‑trials, troubleshoot issues and support ship delivery trips.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience designing and installing complex electrical systems.
• Experience with electrification, control and monitoring systems in a maritime context.
• Strong communication skills in English.
