Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead the industrialization of new products, ensuring they move from concept to full‑scale production efficiently. The role focuses on safety, quality, cost, and delivery while fostering strong collaboration with customers and internal teams to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end New Product Introduction (NPI) from RFQ and feasibility studies through to full production launch.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost reduction and delivery performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality and supply chain, to ensure seamless product rollout.
• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes, tools and work instructions for metal‑based products.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years in an engineering leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Proven hands‑on experience with NPI, APQP and process development.
