Equipment Engineer – SMT Production

About the role

The Equipment Engineer (SMT) will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the surface‑mount technology (SMT) production line at our Hai Phong facility. You will work closely with production teams to improve yield, reduce downtime, and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Improve SMT line performance, focusing on yield rate, equipment downtime, material waste, and components per hour.
• Analyze defects after reflow, test, and system stages and implement preventive actions.
• Provide technical support during line changeovers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Support NPI debugging, defect analysis, and follow‑up improvements.

Required profile

• College diploma or higher in a mechanical‑related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in SMT equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with operation, maintenance, and calibration of SMT equipment, preferably Panasonic.
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts.
