Expert Software Engineer (Distributed Systems)

About the role

One Mount is building the next generation of AI cloud platforms. As an Expert Software Engineer specializing in distributed systems, you will help shape the technical direction of core multi‑tenant services and deliver the reliable, scalable foundations that customers depend on.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain high‑performance distributed services for a cloud platform.
• Define architectural standards and guide the evolution of system components.
• Ensure consistency, replication, fault‑tolerance and partition handling across services.
• Collaborate with product, operations and security teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code quality and testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals such as consensus, replication, consistency models and data partitioning.
• Experience with modern programming languages and large‑scale system development.
