General Accountant

About the role

The General Accountant will support Rieckermann Vietnam’s Finance & Accounting function by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, reconciliations, accounting records, tax documentation, banking activities and fixed‑asset schedules. This role helps maintain strong internal controls, statutory compliance and smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile overseas and domestic payments.
• Maintain general ledger entries and month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare and review tax documentation, including VAT, foreign contractor tax and social insurance contributions.
• Manage accounts payable, treasury transactions and fixed‑asset schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational, trading, import‑export or industrial environment.
• Practical experience with accounts payable, treasury, general ledger, tax reconciliation and month‑end closing.
• Good knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and applicable tax regulations.
