Head of Transaction Banking – Vietnam

About the role

The Head of Transaction Banking in Vietnam will lead the end‑to‑end business management of ANZ’s Transaction Banking (TB) franchise. Reporting to the regional Head of Transaction Banking and matrix‑reporting to the Country Head, the role is part of the country Leadership Team and represents Vietnam at regional forums.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the TB sales team in Vietnam to achieve revenue, profitability and risk targets.
• Develop and execute the TB business strategy across PCM and TSC products in line with the Institutional business plan.
• Ensure governance, regulatory compliance and internal ANZ obligations are met.
• Represent the country at regional meetings and coordinate with the Southeast Asia, India and Middle East TB leadership.
• Foster a high‑performance culture, provide direction to sales teams and maintain disciplined revenue tracking.
• Manage cost structures while delivering low‑cost‑to‑serve client engagement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in transaction banking or a related financial services area.
• Strong track record of driving sales growth, profitability and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and regions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
