HR Risk & Control Manager

About the role

The HR Risk & Control Manager will lead the development and implementation of risk and compliance frameworks within the Human Resources function of United Overseas Bank Vietnam. This role ensures that HR processes adhere to local labour regulations and internal control standards while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, monitor and improve HR risk control policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of HR documentation and processes to ensure compliance with Vietnamese labour law.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate HR‑related risks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records and reports on risk assessments, control activities and remediation actions.
• Provide guidance and training to HR teams on risk awareness and control best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field; exposure to labour law preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, HR operations, or risk & control/compliance.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and applicable labour regulations.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
