Indirect Sourcing - Packaging & MRO (Chinese speaking)

About the role

Molex Vietnam is seeking an experienced sourcing professional to lead indirect procurement for packaging and MRO items. The role supports the growth of optical, cable, and consumer solutions by managing supplier relationships and driving cost‑effective sourcing strategies. Fluency in Chinese is required to engage with key regional suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and approve suppliers for packaging and MRO categories.
• Implement supplier management programs, including performance metrics, digitization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the local Indirect Sourcing Manager to build a world‑class sourcing team in Vietnam.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve cost savings and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional projects and lead a team of procurement professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5‑10 years of procurement, sales, or engineering experience in high‑tech components.
• 3‑5 years of experience in the optical fiber or cable industry.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams or cross‑functional projects.
• Professional certifications such as CPM/CPSM, CIRM, or CPIM are preferred.
