Junior Application Engineer

About the role

Akselos, a digital technology company focused on engineering modeling and simulation for energy infrastructure, is looking for a Junior Application Engineer in Ho Chi Minh City. You will design, build and test computational components for its simulation software and help develop in-house tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and test computational components for the simulation software
• Create or modify CAD models for industrial applications
• Generate Akselos-compatible computational component meshes
• Take part in finite element modeling for structural and thermal problems
• Run finite element calculations with in-house and industrial software
• Test, develop and improve Akselos in-house tools and software

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with 3D CAD modeling processes
• Understanding of the finite element analysis workflow and a solid FEA background
• English communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic, global team
• Coding skills in popular programming languages are optional but a plus
