Junior DevOps Engineer (1-3 Years Experience)

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Company Limited (BGSV), a 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH and the first Bosch software development centre in Southeast Asia, is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer based in Ho Chi Minh City. The role covers CI/CD management, Linux administration, task automation and technical support for infrastructure and Jenkins.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins
• Monitor infrastructure-related systems
• Deploy and maintain Jenkins nodes using Ansible
• Maintain an overview of the company's network architecture
• Manage inter-service communication of services such as Artifactory, Nexus, Elasticsearch, NewRelic, license servers, Revenera download server, Open Source scanning and Bitbucket
• Write custom Dockerfiles
• Administer hardware devices such as switches and PDUs, and set up and debug embedded hardware when needed

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security or a related major
• 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field
• Systems thinking and willingness to learn in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe and Scrum)
• Team player attitude in a diverse, multicultural environment
• Good English communication skills

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design (e.g. Jenkins)
• Solid knowledge of Linux and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Docker)
• Knowledge of Ruby or a similar scripting language such as Groovy or Java
• Experience with Agile software development practices
