Laundry Supervisor

About the role

Rixos Phu Quoc, a member of the Accor network, is looking for a Laundry Supervisor to supervise the daily operations of its Laundry Department under the general direction of the Laundry Manager. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, cost control and linen care while fostering a positive, safe and professional working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily laundry operations and monitor outsourced laundry services for quality, timelines and contractual standards
• Ensure proper setup, operation and maintenance of laundry equipment, and correct use, storage and cost control of laundry chemicals in line with environmental and safety procedures
• Maintain linen, uniform and laundry par stock levels and ensure consistent linen flow to guestrooms, outlets and back-of-house areas
• Inspect linen and uniforms for cleanliness, damage and defects, and recommend repairs or replacements
• Keep laundry staff informed about textile types and handling procedures, and maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety across all laundry areas
• Record chemical consumption per wash cycle, prepare monthly productivity reports, take part in monthly inventories and keep accurate operational files
• Supervise and motivate the laundry team, run daily briefings, help interview and onboard new staff and develop action plans for performance, engagement and retention
• Handle guest complaints professionally and coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B and Front Office
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, local legislation, fire safety, hygiene and health and safety regulations, and identify and eliminate hazards
• Follow proper discard procedures for linen and report for duty in the correct uniform and name tag

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in laundry operations within a 4-5 star hotel or resort environment
• Ability to handle guest complaints and work flexibly with other departments

• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, textile care, chemicals and equipment
• Cost control and inventory management
