Lead AI Safety & Security Engineer – Joining Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AI Safety & Security Engineer to own safety evaluation and security testing for Bosch’s AI‑enabled products and internal tooling, including large language model deployments and agentic AI systems. You will lead the practice across business units, building safety and security processes from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run safety evaluations for LLM‑based features and AI agents, including red‑team testing, jailbreak detection and systematic benchmarking.
• Conduct security testing such as prompt injection, tool/plugin abuse and confused‑deputy risks for agentic and Model Context Protocol architectures.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive threat model covering user input, model reasoning and tool execution.
• Partner with AI/ML engineering teams to embed safety and security reviews into system design.
• Produce documentation for AI governance and compliance (ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
• Build test tooling (adversarial‑prompt harnesses, automated jailbreak pipelines, MCP fuzzers) and mentor engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in security testing, AI/ML safety research or a closely related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience testing or red‑team­ing LLM/agentic AI systems, including prompt injection and jailbreaks.
• Working knowledge of at least one AI safety/governance framework (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act).
