Lead Engineer, Power Transmission & Distribution

About the role

Lead Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing and overseeing primary and secondary electrical systems for high‑voltage substations, transmission and distribution projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design primary system components: single line diagrams, substation/switchyard layouts, earthing and lightning protection, conductor and busbar sizing.
• Design secondary system components: protection and metering single line diagrams, control and protection schematics, termination drawings, and control‑protection panels.
• Perform power system studies such as load flow, short‑circuit, protection coordination, arc‑flash, corona effects, earthing, lightning, EMF/EMI and EMT analyses.
• Prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment.
• Lead project teams and manage people as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in high‑voltage substation design.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities and deep knowledge of electrical standards.
