About the role

The Logistics Specialist (Customs Clearance) ensures seamless, fully compliant, and timely customs clearance and freight operations. Acting as the main operational contact between clients, customs authorities, vendors and internal teams, the role delivers high‑quality logistics services while optimising costs and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee customs clearance for import and export shipments, ensuring full regulatory compliance and timely release.
• Manage freight forwarding activities, including documentation, carrier selection and cost optimisation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, customs authorities, vendors and internal teams, providing clear communication and updates.
• Monitor and resolve customs or transportation issues, liaising with trucking providers when required.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to support operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Foreign Trade or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in import and export operations within an international freight forwarding environment.
• Strong knowledge of import/export handling; experience in customs clearance and trucking arrangements is a plus.
