Manager, Solutions Architect, East SEA

About the role

The Customer Solutions Center (CSC) enables Mastercard to develop innovative, scalable solutions for financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, governments and digital partners. As a Manager, Solutions Architect you will act as a trusted advisor to account, product and regional teams, shaping client strategies and driving execution of strategic initiatives across East SEA markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account, product and services teams to identify client pain points, design integrated solutions and create data‑driven value propositions.
• Lead strategic projects from ideation through execution, managing deliverables, risks and governance across multiple stakeholders.
• Support domestic payments initiatives by analysing market trends, driving consumer card activation and increasing transaction activity.
• Drive acceptance and network modernization programs, developing client narratives, business cases and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Coordinate cross‑border growth programs, providing performance tracking, business analysis and scalable frameworks for regional replication.
• Share market insights, case studies and best practices to build solution playbooks and promote continuous innovation within the CSC.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.
• 5‑8 years of experience in payments, banking, consulting, fintech or related industries.
• Proven experience in solutioning, product strategy, business development or client‑facing roles.
• Strong understanding of card payments, acceptance, issuing, digital and cross‑border payments ecosystems.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence matrix organisations.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and structured thinking capabilities, with experience creating presentations and business cases.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and the local language, with ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Mastercard products and experience across East SEA markets is a strong advantage.
