Manufacturing Engineer – Shipbuilding (Vietnamese required)

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will transform 3D ship design models from Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE into a Manufacturing Bill of Materials, routings and manufacturing logic. The role bridges design and production, ensuring data flows smoothly to MES and ERP systems while optimizing manufacturability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define production strategies per ship type and set up modular Bill of Materials and routings in 3DX.
• Capture and reuse manufacturing logic in templates to accelerate product deployment.
• Manage the digital thread from design to production, structuring data models aligned with MBOM and process planning.
• Incorporate engineering changes, provide manufacturability feedback to designers, and support anonymous production initiatives.
• Ensure accurate transfer of manufacturing data to MES for shop‑floor execution and to ERP for material management and planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture or related field.
• Good written and verbal English proficiency.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in shipbuilding or heavy industry.
• Familiarity with Lean tools, Six Sigma or Material Requirements Planning concepts.
